Overview AT Commands
INSYS WLAN serial 2.1
Command
Description
AT#RAT=<n>,<m>
Set data rate (in Mbps)
AT#RAT=<n>,<m>
sets the minimum data rate <n> and the maximum data
rate <m> in MBit/s.
<n> and <m> can assume the following values:
1, 2, 5, 11 (802.11b data rates)
6, 9, 12, 18, 24, 36, 48, 54 (802.11g data rates)
Examples:
To allow only 802.11b,
AT#RAT=1,11
must be set (default).
To allow only 802.11g,
AT#RAT=12,54
must be set.
This setting is immediately stored in the permanent memory (independent
from the command
AT&W
). It will only take effect after a restart.
AT#RLV=<n>
Set roaming level
AT#RLV
sets from which signal/noise ratio (SNR) the roaming process is initi-
ated. The ratio is indicated in dB.
AT#RLV=<n>
Set roaming at <n>dB SNR (default: 8dB)
A lower SNR value will cause an earlier switching to another AP, but may also
cause larger gaps in the data stream due to more frequent roaming.
A higher SNR value will cause a later switching to another AP and may result in
a temporary connections loss when signal conditions are quickly fluctuating.
AT#RBT
AT#RESET
Restart
The device is rebooted. All network parameters are reloaded from the perma-
nent memory.
