lect the "Slave" role, if another device has already taken on the "Master" role in
the WLAN.
In order to
enter the WEP keys
, select on the "WLAN" tab the encryption
WEP128 or WEP64 using the radio buttons (Figure 8, page 46, position 3). En-
ter at least one key into the "WEP-Key" entry fields. The position of the key in
the list must be the same for all devices.
In order to
specify the used WEP key , select on the "WLAN" tab the key on the
respective list position using the drop-down menu "standard key" (Figure 8,
page 46 position 4).
In order to
select the WPA-PSK encryption and enter the pre-shared key, select
on the "WLAN" tab the "WPA" option under "Security" (Figure 8, page 46 posi-
tion 3). Enter the associated key (pre-shared key) into the entry field that is
displayed now.
In order to
configure the minimum and maximum WLAN transmission rate
,
use on the "WLAN" tab the driop-down menus "min. transmission rate" and
"max. transmission rate" (Figure 8, page 46 position 5).
Configuration with AT commands
In order to configure the name of the WLAN
(ESSID) , use the command
Enter instead of
<ESSID>
the name of your
WLAN.
AT#SSID=“<ESSID>“
In order to
configure the WLAN mode
, use the
command
Enter instead of
<n>
the value
0 for ad-hoc (Slave or Join)
1 for infrastructure
2 for ad-hoc (Master or Build)
AT#PTY=<n>
In order to configure the radio channel for ad-
hoc networks , use the command
Enter instead of
<n>
the channel number.
AT#CHAN=<n>
In order to enter the WEP keys , use the com-
mand
Enter instead of <n> the list position of the
key, i.e. 0 for the first position, 1 for the second
position and so on.
AT#KEY<n>=“<key>“
In order to select the used WEP key , use the
command
Enter instead of
<n>
the list position of the
key, i.e. 0 for the first key in the list, 1 for the
second and so on.
