INSYS WLAN serial 2.1
Functions
11.11
Setting and Requesting Switch Outputs
The INSYS WLAN serial 2.1 provides two control outputs OUT1 and OUT2. The outputs
can be controlled individually using AT commands. These outputs can be used to switch
other functions in an application.
Configuration with HSComm
You can switch the
outputs
via HSComm on the "Basic settings" tab in the
"Digital Outputs" panel (Figure 6, page 44, position 4). You can also see the
state of the respective output here. The outputs will only be set to the se-
lected state after sending the settings.
Configuration with AT commands
In order to
switch the outputs
, use the com-
mand:
AT*Y<out>,<state>
<out>
is 0 for output 1, and 1 for output 2;
<state>
is 0 for Off and 1 for On.
In order to
enable output 1
:
AT*Y0,1
In order to
disable output 2
:
AT*Y1,0
The
states of the outputs
can be taken from
the output of the following command:
AT&V
11.12
Querying the Switch Inputs
The INSYS WLAN serial 2.1 provides two digital
inputs
IN1 and IN2. The state of an input
changes if the contact of the respective input is connected to GND. The states of each
input can be queried independent of each other via AT commands or the software
HSComm. These inputs can be used to query conditions in an application.
Configuration with HSComm
The
input states
can be read in HSComm on the "Basic settings" tab in the
"Digital Inputs" panel (Figure 6, page 44, position 4). The status display will be
updated, if you have read out the settings from the INSYS WLAN serial 2.1.
Configuration with AT commands
In order to
read out the inputs
, use the com-
mand
AT*I
The value 0 in the response of the command
means that the respective input is connected
to GND. The value 1 means that the respective
input is open or not connected to GND.
