Command
Description
AT#DIV=<n>
Reception quality dependent aerial selection (Diversity) or manual aerial selec-
tion.
The Divesity feature ensures that always the aerial of the INSYS WLAN serial
2.1 is used, which reveives the best WLAN signal at the moment. This function
can be limited to the reception only or also used for transmission and reception
at the same time.
Values for <n>:
0
No diversity, always use the MAIN aerial (default)
1
No diversity, always use the AUX aerial
2
Diversity for reception, transmission only on MAIN
3
Diversity for reception and transmission
This setting is immediately stored in the permanent memory (independent
from the command
AT&W
). It will only take effect after a restart.
AT#DHCP=<n>
Activate/deactivate DHCP mode
Use the command
AT#DHCP
to automatically activate or deactivate the auto-
matic address allocation via DHCP (client function).
AT#DHCP=0
The IP address set with
AT#IP
is used.
(default)
AT#DHCP=1
The INSYS WLAN serial 2.1 will automatically retrieve the IP
address from a DHCP server when switched on.
The settings from the stored profile (
AT#IP
,
AT#NM
,
AT#GW
) are not affected
by the usage of DHCP. For
AT#DHCP=0
, the old values will again be available.
After the DHCP settings have been changed, a reset (
AT#RBT
) must be per-
formed to accept the new IP configuration.
After a reset or power up, it may take a few minutes until the module receives
its settings from the DHCP server.
The currently valid addresses can be retrieved with
AT&V
.
The setting can be queried with
AT#DHCP?
.
