Introduction
Real-Time Analysis software performs on-instrument image analysis and base calling
during the sequencing run, which saves valuable time during subsequent data analysis.
The HiSeq X uses a new implementation of Real-Time Analysis (RTA) software called RTA
v2, which includes the following important architecture and feature differences:

Configuration files, output file formats, and the processing workflow differ from
previous implementations of the software.
}
Configuration file settings used with previous implementations of the software are not
compatible with RTA v2.
}
If RTA v2 is terminated, processing does not resume and run data are not saved.
}
Demultiplex performance is not calculated. Therefore, the Index tab in Sequencing
Analysis Viewer (SAV) is not populated.
