NOTE
Illumina recommends a network location for the output folders. However, you can
specify a location on the O:\ drive only if the location differs from the HiSeq Temp
folder. Do not use the S:\ drive; it is reserved for instrument operations.

Default Temp Folder1
—The location to which temporary files are written during a
run. The HiSeq Temp folder is written to the O:\ drive.

Run Setup Folder
—The location of LIMS sample forms.
}
LIMS Server
—The server name for interactions with supported Illumina LIMS.
}
LIMS User Name
—The user name used when authenticating to Illumina LIMS.
}
LIMS Password
—The password used when authenticating to Illumina LIMS.

Send instrument health information to Illumina to aid technical support
—Permits the
instrument to send information to BaseSpace for each run. All information remains
confidential. Illumina recommends enabling this feature.
HiSeq X Pause and Abort Options
Options to pause or abort a run on the HiSeq X differ from other HiSeq instruments.
Ending a run does
not
provide the option to save data or resume the run. For more
