HiSeq X System User Guide

Sample Sheet Overview

The sample sheet is a user-generated file in *.csv format that stores information about the
sequencing run. When the run begins, the software copies the sample sheet to the run
folder where it is later used for analysis.

Sample sheets are optional unless you are using BaseSpace to perform data analysis. Use
the Illumina Experiment Manager (IEM) to create a sample sheet

before

starting the run.
