1.6 PROGRAMMABLE FUNCTIONS
All units use IEEE 488.2 and SCPI commands to change their program-
mable functions and jumpers to select the serial signals. Table 1-1 lists
the programmable functions and their factory default settings. The 4899A
and 4809A are factory set for RS-232 signals. The 4829A is factory set
for 4-wire operation.
