FR4-18i router GbE port specifications

The GbE ports in the FR4-18i router blade are compatible with SWL, LWL, and
ELWL SFP transceivers. A copper SFP is also available. The strength of the signal is
determined by the type of transceiver in use. The ports meet all required safety
standards. For more information about these standards, refer to the Federal
Communications Commission (FCC) Class A “Federal Communications
Commission (FCC) Class A Statement” on page 166. The GbE ports are capable of
operating at 1-Gbps. The eight virtual FCIP Fibre Channel links over each physical
GbE connection share this bandwidth.

Power cords

Two power cords for connecting between the SAN768B and the power distribution
units on the 2109 C36 cabinet are shipped with the product. Two additional power
cords are provided if the optional upgrade power supply feature is ordered
(Feature Code 7880). See the

Installation and Service Guide

for information on connecting the cabinet to the

facility power source. If the stand-alone feature is ordered for the SAN768B, then
you must also order the country-specific power cords. Contact your IBM
representative for more information on these power cords.
