Working with Adapters

5. Install the adapter:

Note: If a component in the server or on the adapter interferes

with the installation, use another slot.

a. Carefully grasp the adapter and align it with the expansion

slot.

b. Slide the adapter into the expansion slot; then, press the

adapter firmly in the connector.

c. Tighten the expansion-slot screw on the top of the adapter

bracket.
