Using the Configuration/Setup Utility Program
The following table summarizes the levels of security with the
different levels of password protection.

program menu. Administrator password menu
can enable the power-on password user to change
the power-on password.
Power-on password provides access to a limited
set of choices on the Configuration/Setup utility
program menu.
Setting an Administrator Password
The administrator password (sometimes called a supervisor-level
password) controls access to some features of the server, including
the Configuration/Setup utility program.
Attention:
If an administrator password is set and then forgotten,
you must move the password jumper to clear the password and
regain access to the Configuration/Setup utility program. This
procedure erases your current server configuration (see “Removing
a Password” on page 108 for more information). You must then
reconfigure your server.
