Working with Internal Drives

12. Connect the SCSI signal cable and power cable to the installed

drive.

Notes:

a. Cables connectors are keyed and connect only one way.

b. When connecting cables to the drive in bay 3, connect the

SCSI signal cable first; then, connect the power cable.

13. Store the drive tray in a safe place.

14. Go to the device-record form in Appendix C, “Server Records”

on page 203, and update the drive information.
