When High Beam Assist is operating:
- If the turn signal lever is pulled
toward you when the high beams
are off, the high beams turn on.
When you let go of the turn signal
lever, High Beam Assist operates
again.
- If the turn signal lever is pulled
toward you when the high beams
are on by High Beam Assist, the
low beams turn on and High Beam
Assist turns off.
- If the turn signal lever is pushed
away from you, the high beams turn
on and High Beam Assist turns off.
- If the headlight switch is moved
from AUTO to another position
(headlight/position/off), the
corresponding light turns on and
High Beam Assist turns off.

When High Beam Assist is operating,
high beam switches to low beam if:
- The headlights of an oncoming
vehicle are detected.
- The tail lights of a front vehicle are
detected.
- The headlight or tail light of a
motorcycle or a bicycle is detected.
- The surrounding ambient light is
bright enough so high beams are
not required.
- Streetlights or other lights are
detected.
Information
The images and colors in the instrument
cluster may differ depending on the
cluster type or theme selected from the
settings menu.

When High Beam Assist is not working
properly, the "Check High Beam Assist
(HBA) system" warning message may
appear, and the
warning light may
illuminate on the instrument cluster.
