DOOR LOCKS
Operating Door Locks from
Outside the Vehicle
Using the mechanical key

To unlock:
1. Pull the door handle.
2. Press the release button

inside the bottom part of the cover
with a mechanical key or flat-head
screwdriver.
3. Carefully pull out the cover

while
continuing to press the release button
to remove the cover and expose the
key cylinder.
4. Insert the mechanical key into
the key cylinder and rotate
O
clockwise to unlock the vehicle and
counterclockwise to lock the vehicle.
Once the doors are unlocked, they can
be opened by pulling the door handle.
Information
Only the driver’s door can be locked/
unlocked using the mechanical key.
In case of an emergency

Doors without an outside key hole can be
locked as follows:
1. Open the door.
2. Insert the key into the emergency
door lock hole and turn the key
horizontally to lock.
3. Close the door securely.
Information
If the electrical power to door lock switch
is not operating (e.g. discharged vehicle
battery) and the liftgate is closed, you
cannot open the liftgate until power is
restored.
