Limitations of Intelligent Speed
Limit Assist
Intelligent Speed Limit Assist may not
operate or may be limited if:
ś
The road sign is damaged, difficult to
see due to rain, snow, fog, dirt, sand,
oil, etc., or obscured by surrounding
objects or shadows.
ś
The road signs do not conform to the
standard designs in your country.
- The text or picture on the road
sign is different from the standard
designs in your country.
- The road sign is installed between
the main road and exit road or
between diverging roads.
- A sign is attached to another
vehicle.
ś
The distance between the driving lane
and road sign is far.
ś
There are LED road signs.
ś
The numbers or pictures in the road
sign is incorrectly recognized as the
speed limit.
ś
Road signs on adjacent roads are
incorrectly recognized as road signs
you are driving on.
ś
Multiple signs are installed close
together.
ś
Supplementary road signs or
signboards are installed near the road
sign.
ś
A minimum speed limit sign is
incorrectly recognized as the
maximum speed limit sign.
ś
The brightness changes suddenly, for
example when entering or exiting a
tunnel or passing under a bridge.
ś
Headlights are not used, or the
brightness of the headlights are weak
at night or in the tunnel.
ś
Road signs are difficult to recognize
due to the reflection of sunlight,
streetlights, or oncoming vehicles.
ś
The front view camera’s field of view
is obstructed by glare from the sun.
ś
You are driving on a road that is
sharply curved or continuously
curved.
ś
You are driving through speed bumps,
or driving up and down, or left to right
on steep inclines.
ś
Your vehicle is shaking heavily.
ś
There is an error in the navigation map
data or GPS data.
ś
You are not driving your vehicle based
on the route guidance.
ś
You are driving your vehicle on a
newly opened road.
ś
The navigation system is updated
while driving or restarts.
