When a log host is added, it will not receive log information reported from the
system until the log host is activated.

A log host can be activated by its IP address or its host name.
7.4.4 Deactivating Log Host
In global config mode, you can use the command
no loghost
active
{
ip
|
hostname
} to deactivate the log host
Example: Deactivate the log host “log”, whose IP address is
210.11.123.56.
Deactivate the log host “log” by IP address:
IAD2000(config)#
show loghost list
{ <cr>|ip<I>|hostname<S><1,31> }:
Command:
show loghost list

IP ADDRESS HOSTNAME TERMINAL STATUS
210.11.123.56 log NORMAL

no loghost active 210.11.123.56
