Cause

• The drive boot order is not set to boot from the microSD card.

• The microSD card is not detected by iLO.

• The microSD card is not seated properly.

Action

Be sure the drive boot order in the UEFI System Utilities is set so that the server boots from the
microSD card.

Use the iLO web interface to verify that the microSD card is detected by iLO.

Remove all power from the server. Reseat the microSD card, and then power on the server.

USB drive key issues

System does not boot from the USB drive key

Symptom

The system does not boot from the USB drive key.

Cause

• The USB drive key is not enabled in the UEFI System Utilities.

• The drive boot order is not set to boot from the USB drive key.

• The USB drive key is not seated properly.

Action

Be sure that USB is enabled in the UEFI System Utilities.

Be sure the drive boot order in the UEFI System Utilities is set so that the server boots from the USB
drive key.

Reseat the USB drive key.

Move the USB drive key to a different USB port, if available.
