Failure

Bad 50/60 Hz line.

Symptoms

• W7600A-F LED blinks at 25

cycles in 10 seconds.

•

Bad 50/60 Line or Hardware

failure message displayed on
the S7600A.

Cause

The 50/60 Hz is too fast, too slow
or too noisy.

W7600A-F Action

The W7600 retests the line fre-
quency. If the line frequency is
the source of the clock, TOD goes
to occupied/on state.

Remedies

Short-term solution:
• Reconfigure W7600A-F using

the ZM7601/ZM7603 Soft-
ware or from the S7600A Key-
board Display Module to use
the real-time clock card for the
clock base.

• Reroute 24 Vac supply to

W7600A-F.

• Ensure 20-30 Vac is being sup-

plied to the W7600A-F.

• If the problem is not corrected,

replace the W7600A-F.

Failure

Q7600 off-line.

Symptoms

W7600A-F LED is blinking at a
rate of 25 on and off blinks per 10
second period.

Q7600 Down-No

Communications

displayed on the

S7600A.

Cause

Q7600G Communication Mod-
ule is not functioning.

W7600A-F Action

W7600A-F continues to operate
normally. No network communi-
cations are possible.

Remedies

• Power down device, reapply

power, and observe operating
condition. Repeat process.

• Check CNAP network for wir-

ing opens and shorts.

• Check Q7600G for proper ad-

dress settings.

• Turn off power to the

W7600A-F. Replace the
Q7600G with a known, good
Q7600G. Reapply power and
observe results. If the problem
is corrected, replace the
Q7600G.

• If the problem is not corrected,

replace the W7600A-F.

Failure

System clock bad.

Symptoms

• W7600A-F LED is blinking

at a rate of 25 on and off blinks
per 10 second period.

•

System Clock Bad

displayed

on the S7600A.

Cause

The selected time base (line fre-
quency or clock card) has failed.

W7600A-F Action

Clock circuit is retested. Time-
of-day program outputs go to oc-
cupied setpoint ON conditions.
Historical data logging is sus-
pended. All digital start/stop out-
puts become de-energized and
W7600A-F control is suspended.

Remedies

• Power down W7600A-F. Re-

apply power and observe con-
dition.

• Replace W7600.
Using line synchronized 50/60 Hz
clock:
• Ensure that 20-30 Vac is ap-

plied to the W7600A-F.

• Power down W7600A-F. Re-

apply power, reset the clock
through the S7600A Keyboard
Display Module or through the
ZM7601/ZM7603 Software
and observe the condition. If
the problem persists, replace
the W7600A-F.

Failure

Q7600 failure.

Symptoms

• W7600A-F LED is blinking

at a rate of 25 on and off blinks

Q7600G Hardware Failure

Cause

Q7600G has failed.

W7600A-F Action

W7600A-F continues to operate
normally. No network communi-
cations are possible.
