while analog outputs can be forced to any desired position.
Also, the second level allows the user to change program
parameters.
Pressing PROGRAM initiates the program mode and
turns on an amber light above this key. After the user has
successfully entered the access code, if non-zero, changes
can be made to S7600A Keyboard Display Module param-
eters.
When the user is in the PROGRAM mode, the time-of-
day, control setpoints, time schedules and access codes can
be programmed. Special hidden screens can be accessed
from the PROGRAM main menu screen by pressing simul-
taneously the + and – keys. These hidden screens allow the
user to change the pressure and temperature gains. An
additional hidden screen allows the user to clear the entire
program memory. Tthe PROGRAM flowchart at the end of
this section provides all of the PROGRAM screens.
Pressing PROGRAM while in the program mode (indi-
cator light on) initiates an abort feature of the program,
uploading W7600 memory and ignoring changes made
since the last save.
PROGRAMMING AND VIEWING THE SPECIAL
USE OF SETPOINTS WITH S7600
When the Q7601 setpoint module is used with the
W7600, the programmed setpoints must be 0
°
F or -18
°
C
for temperature and 0 in. or 0 Pa for pressure. The zeros
indicate a special use for the setpoint and the S7600 will
indicate SPECIAL for the setpoints in these instances.
Programming the special use for temperature setpoints
with the S7600 is accomplished by placing the cursor under
that setpoint and scrolling with the + or - key until the
SPECIAL indication appears. To program pressure setpoints,
the user must input 00.00 for the setpoint. After the user
exits the screen with the PREVIOUS (
∧
) or NEXT (
∨
) key,
the SPECIAL indication will be indicated the next time the
screen is displayed.
EXAMPLE: For temperatures, the Range = 0, 30-90.
The S7600 display sequences SPECIAL,
30-90.
For pressures:

PROGRAMMING EVENT SCHEDULES
NOTE: If the USE_INT_TOD_SCHED Parameter was
programmed to NO, then programming schedules with
the S7600 are not allowed.
When in the program mode, the program display will
appear.
The default position of the cursor is under the
SETPOINTS selection. Using LEFT/RIGHT TAB (</>),
move the cursor under the TOD selection and press NEXT
(
∨
). Select SCHEDULES and press NEXT. Up to 32 event
schedules may be programmed.
run mode. Pressing BYPASS enters the bypass mode and
allows the user to override the state of any output after
entering the access code (if non-zero). The keys that allow
movement through program menus and data fields are the
data change (PLUS (+), MINUS (–) and FAST) and menu

∨
), PREVIOUS (

) and TAB LEFT/RIGHT (</>)
keys. ALARM SILENCE silences the audible alarm and
acknowledges all alarms and CLEAR clears information
from the S7600A. CLEAR may also be used to erase
information from the W7600 database.
If
more
appears on the S7600A, more screens are avail-
able by pressing NEXT (
∨
). Sometimes,
more
appears with
a cursor prompt that indicates which TAB key may be used
to review or change additional data.
SYSTEM INITIALIZATION WITH S7600A
After initial power-up in the test or normal run modes,
the
SYSTEM INITIALIZATION
display appears. This dis-
play appears for at least three to five seconds while the
S7600A attempts to contact the W7600.
THE S7600A KEYBOARD RUN DISPLAY
The S7600A Keyboard Display Module displays the
time (in either 12 or 24 hour format), the current date, and
whether a special day schedule is being observed. If there
are bypasses being observed observed, the * bypass indica-
tor appears in the upper right hand corner on the display. If
there are any alarms, either acknowledged or unacknowl-
edged,
*ALARM*
appears on the display.

PRESS +3.57 INW V_PRESS
At this point, most program and run keys are enabled,
while the data change and menu keys are disabled. This will
be referred to as the
Run Display
.
During normal operation of the system, the S7600A
continuously polls for alarms in the W7600. If an alarm is
detected, *ALARM* will be shown on the S7600A dis-
play. If an alarm becomes inactive (and it is the only alarm
being sensed), the message will disappear. If there are
active, unacknowledged alarms, they will be displayed
alternately with the information shown in either the run
(every two seconds) or review (every 10 seconds) selec-
tions of the run mode.
If the ZM7601/ZM7603 Software is communicating
with the W7600, the W7600 database may be blocked from
access by the S7600A. In this case,
Communications in
progress…please wait
will be displayed. If a request was
entered by the user of the S7600A and the database is in use
by remote software, the S7600A will wait until that pro-
cessing is complete to finish its transaction.
PROGRAMMING THE W7600 FROM THE S7600A
KEYBOARD DISPLAY MODULE
The W7600 features two levels of user access. The first
level access allows the user to review program and setpoint
data. The second level requires the user to enter a numerical
access code before program changes or bypass functions
can be performed. Once the access code is entered, the user
can bypass digital outputs and force them ON or OFF,
