Coupling the Drive shaft
1. Unhook telescoping drive shaft from the
storage bracket.
2. Couple the drive shaft to the feeder house
shaft.
3. Align the pump to minimize the amount of
angle in the drive shaft universals.
Hydraulic Hoses
The hydraulic lines from the combine to the header
are connected through the multi-link system.
Connect the multi-link coupler (as described in your
combine owner’s manual), ensuring that the coupler
is aligned properly and the connection is securely
locked in place with the locking lever.
This illustration may not exactly
match your application.
There are two additional hydraulic connections that
you need to ensure are properly secured. Failure in
either of these connections can result in damage to
your equipment.
The pump supply quick coupler connection is
located on the hydraulic pump housing
(See Right)
The female end of the combine return quick coupler
connection is located on the upper left corner of the
subframe. The male end is routed down from the
combine hydraulic reservoir.
