4.13 Camera view [F11]
The picture that comes through the camera is responsible for accuracy, speed and function of the
aligner. So please urgently take care for:
•
No strange lights from the backside of the machine should come in the camera. If necessary
use a curtain behind the car.
•
Targets must be clean.
•
No reflection in the surface of the car (please cover if necessary)
•
There is no clouding of the lens
•
Lift must be big enough (Difference of posts more than 2,70m -- !! not smaller)
•
No obstacles between the target and cameras.
•
Car is centred on the lift.
•
Targets are mounted correct and do not cover.
This all can be checked with [F11]. Any disturbance slows or hinders the measurement.
4.14 Values for exposure of the camera
Strange lights, reflection and direct sunlight can have influence to the speed of the aligner. The
cameras are very sensitive, so the exposure can be set to a lover value.
There are two ways to set values for exposure:
- Camera view [F11]
Press "adjust" to go to next screen:
Please only change "exposure".
Pending on your software version it can
be that "exposure" is higher, so please
set
following
parameters
in
d:\ssence\config.ini
Minimal value of exposure can be 1, Maximal is 25, but you can experiment
with the values between that. The more light comes into the camera from sun
light or anything else, the smaller is the exposure. Don't forget to save....
