Boot Options
Beep on boot
Disabled
Only turns ON/OFF the beep at
bootup. Regardless of this setting, the
beep at an error occurrence is always
ON.
Reset button function
Reset
Sets up the reset button function. A
setting change to “NMI” gives you
more chances of non-maskable
interrupt, thereby increasing the
possibility of successful memory dump
initiated by the reset button at an error
occurrence during OS
startup/shutdown. For details of
memory dump, see Section 7.2,
“Memory Dump Collecting Feature”.
QuickBoot Mode
Disabled
A setting change to “Enabled” causes
memory check processing to be
skipped, thereby shortening the startup
time. Keep the “Disabled” setting in
practical use.
Correctable ECC Error
Pass
Selects, upon encountering a
correctable ECC error, whether to stop
the ongoing startup and show a
message prompt to continue or cancel,
or to ignore such an error and continue
the startup.
