[Supervisory control]
(11) Automatic shutdown
This feature automatically shuts down the Equipment upon detecting a hardware
failure (e.g., fan error or abnormal temperature inside the cabinet) or, on HJ-2035, a
remote shutdown signal input. The user can define whether to perform this automatic
shutdown, using the “RAS Setup” window shown in (4) above.
(12) Startup suppression on serious failure detection
This feature suppresses the startup of the Equipment in order to protect the hardware
when a serious failure such as fan error is detected during the OS startup. On HJ-2035,
this feature can also suppress the startup of the Equipment by causing the Equipment
to detect a remote shutdown signal input during the OS startup.
(13) Control of general external I/O ports
This feature provides the user with the RAS library functions for controlling the
general external I/O ports of the RAS external interface option, four ports for input
and three ports for output. The user can utilize these ports for receiving an input
signal from an external device or sending an output signal to an external device.
(14) Control of digital LED for status indication
This feature provides the user with the RAS library functions for controlling the
digital LED for status indication from the user application programs, thereby enabling
the user to use this LED for custom purposes.

In addition to the RAS library functions for (10), (13), and (14), a RAS library
function for adding text data to the stored log information is provided.
