iTernIS ADV

WARNING

• Do not use parts or accessories which have not

been described as ventilator parts or are not pro

vided or recommended by HEYER Otherwise, the

performance of the ventilator may differ from that

stated in this manual.

NOTE

• The following accessories are not manufactu

red by HEYER:

- Reusable or disposable patient circuit.

- Heater/humidifier (optional).

- Capnograph (optional).

- Proximal pneumotachograph (optional).

- Nebulizer.

- Test lung.

- Water traps.

• Attach the vertical column to the rolling base with Allen screws, adjusting it with

the 6 mm hex key. Check that the support for the heater/humidifier on the vertical

column and the wheels with brakes on the base are facing to the same side (front
of the pedestal).

• Place the plate on top of the vertical column, aligning the plate bolt with the ope

ning in the column. Insert and tighten the locking screw with the 5 mm hex key.

• Attach the lateral bars to the rear of the vertical column. Use the appropriate

screws and the 4 mm hex key. Using the two central screws, also attach the J-
shaped cross section provided in the set (Fig. 3-3).

• Attach the articulated extension arm with hose support, twisting it onto one of the

ends of the lateral bars.
