• Do not operate the chassis without the access panel, baffles, or blanks installed.
• Do not operate the server without the baffles, expansion slot covers, or blanks installed.

When performing non-hot-plug operations, you must power down the server and/or the
system. However, it may be necessary to leave the server powered up when performing other
operations, such as hot-plug installations or troubleshooting.
