The device name set at the factory for the PMX is
"pmx", but this can be changed.

Address assignment strategy

S

Via an IP address that has already been set (not from
the factory)

S

If no permanent IP address is assigned, the PMX
waits for an address from the DHCP server. If there is
no response from a DHCP server, an IP address is
automatically chosen via the RFC5735 auto IP range.

S

If the PMX is set to DHCP, the PC should also be set
to DHCP
