Remove old Mainboard and install the new OmniPL Retrofit Kit Mainboard
With all the wires disconnected from the old mainboard, unscrew the two fasteners located at the bottom of the mainboard and then remove. Position the new
OmniPL mainboard in its place. The new mainboard uses the same type plastic standoffs as the old and will attach in the same manner. Tighten the two screws
to secure the OmniPL mainboard.
Wiring the OmniPL Mainboard
Note that some old accessories won’t be connected as they are not compatible with the OmniPL. Do not connect any of the wired remote controls, AQL-CHEM
Sense and Dispense Kit, or AQL2-BASE-RF wireless base station. Also, some of the transformer connections won’t be made to the new OmniPL mainboard. That
information is shown in the callouts to the diagram on the bottom of page 4.
Most of the connections from the old mainboard will be made to an equivalent connector on the new OmniPL mainboard. The transformer and power input con-
nections will use the supplied wiring harnesses using the colors as a reference for each connection; blue to blue, purple to purple, etc.
The yellow secondary transformer leads will connect to the supplied wiring harness shown below. The harness and the yellow transformer leads will need to be
cut and stripped before inserting into the Wago lever connectors.
TurboCell connector is the
same as old control.
Used for optional HL-CHEM Sense and
Dispense accessory. Do not connect a
wireless base station to this connector.
Used for an optional
HLWALLMOUNT remote

OmniPL mainboard
The OmniPL secondary transformer wiring harness included in the kit plugs it into the mainboard as shown. Strip back
wires 0.4” and attach two lever type wire nuts according to the diagram above. Locate the two yellow leads from the
transformer secondary (refer to Step 3). Cut off the spade connectors and strip wires back 0.4”. Insert stripped bare leads
into the wire nuts and close the levers to secure. Be sure that no bare wire can be seen coming out of the wire nuts.

Locate the OmniPL input wiring
harness and cut to a desired
length. Strip back wires 0.4” and
attach two lever type wiring nuts
as shown. Locate the black and
white power leads. Cut off the
spade connectors and strip wires
back 0.4”. Insert stripped bare
leads into wire nuts and closed
down on the lever to secure.
