Procedure — Checking oil level/adding oil

Step

Activity

1

Switch off the engine and wait several minutes for the engine oil
to collect in the crankcase. Engine must be level.

2

Remove contamination on the engine in the area of the dipstick
(1).

3

Pull out the dipstick and clean it.

4

Reinsert the dipstick.

5

Pull out the dipstick and check the oil level.

6

If the oil level is close to the 

min.

 mark, add engine oil to the

max.

 mark.
