Safety Screen
Removal / Installation
1.Turnoffstoveandallowotreturntoroomtem-
perature.
2.Liftoffcasttopandplaceonasoftsurface.
3.Remove2boltstoremovesafetyscreenretaining
bracket(securedtothebackofthecastfront).
4.Slidesafetyscreenuptoremove.
5.Toinstall,reversesteps.

12.Carefullyliftthevalvetrayassemblyupandout
oftheunittoremove.
13.Replacewithnewvalveassemblyandreverse
stepstoreinstall.
Valve Assembly
Replacement
Ifyourvalverequiresmaintenanceorreplacement,
usethefollowinginstructions:
Note: Always close off the gas and elec-
trical supply before removing the
valve.
1. Ifoptionalfanisinstalled,disconnectpower
sourcetostove.
2. Openthefrontpanelandremovethecover
platebyremovingtwoscrews.
3. Disconnectgaslinetostove.

Disconnectgaslinetostove.
4. Disconnect3/8"NPTpipefrom90
o elbowon
valveorflexconnector.
5. Disconnect3wiresfromsparkigniterassembly.
6. LiftofftheCastTopandremovetheCastFront
andglassdoor(seedetailedinstructioninthis
manual).
7. Carefullymovethelightbracketoutoftheway.
8. Carefullyremovethelogsandembers.
9. Removeburnerbyremovingthe2screwson
eachsideandthenliftingtheburnertrayout.
Note: Use a magnetic type screwdriver if pos-
sible.

10.Remove10screwstoremovevalvetray.
Accent Light Bulb
Replacement
1.Turnoffstoveandallowtoreturntoroomtem
perature.
2.Shutoffelectricalsupply
3.Liftoffcasttopandplaceonasoftsurface.
4.Loosenboltssecuringcastfront–slidelightas-
semblybracketupwardtorelease.
5.Removeone(1)screwtoremovebulbhousing.
Lift light assy bracket off bolts to replace bulb
Remove one screw in location shown
6.Replacebulb.
Note:Oilsfromhandswillshortenthelifeofthe
bulbs,donothandlebulbswithbarehands.
7.Reversestepstoreinstall.
11.Disconnectthefollowingwirespriortoremoving
valveassembly:
a)SparkwirefromIFCboard(X2)
b)FlamedetectwirefromIFCboard(X3)
c)SteppermotorwireharnessfromIFCboard(X6)
d)Orangewirefromgasvalve(EV1)
e)Greenwirefromgasvalve(EV2)
f)Yellowgroundwirelocatedunderwhereorange
wirewasdisconnectedongasvalve.
