TROUBLE-SHOOTING
PROBLEM
CAUSE ACTION
Appliance is plumbed in backward.
Check that appliance is plumbed properly.
(See Fig 1, pg. 3.)
Sensor not receiving signal from
Remove sensor from bypass
Magnet. (See Fig. 7, pg. 23.)
housing. Test with magnet on each
flat
side
of
sensor.
One
side
should
cause
the
light
to
glow.
The
other
will
not.
If
light
glows,
check
turbine.
If
no
light,
replace
sensor.
Turbine is jammed.(See Fig. 7, pg. 23.) Remove bypass valve and clear
debris from turbine.
Light blinks when water is
There is a leak in your household
Repair the leak.

Run water. Verify flashing light.

control. If less than 10 VAC or greater
than 14 VAC, replace transformer.
Defective circuit board.
With 12V AC present at control,

computer
control.
High ambient temperature. If
See Engineering Specifications, pg. 12.
temperature
exceeds
120°F,
display
will blank out. This does not affect the
operation
of
the
controller.
Appliance stays in
Defective magnet disk.
Replace magnet disk. (See Fig. 8, p. 25.)
