MG510R Calibration

24

W450256 Rev A 06/07

Fully extend the boom at an angle greater than 60°.

1.

Lift a suitable calibration load. The load should induce significant deflection in the boom.

2.

Begin the calibration by pressing the key adjacent to “Edit” .

3.

Measure the loaded main boom radius and enter the value. Use the keys adjacent to the

4.

numerical values at the bottom of the window to scroll left or right and highlight each number.
Use the key adjacent to “Enter On-Load Radius” to enter the number. When complete, the
menu will automatically change to the previous menu. It is useful to add .1 ft. to the radius
when entering the radius for boom deflection. This will create a slightly positive radius for most
boom operating conditions.

TEST

SET

Assure that the new displayed radius matches or slightly exceeds the actual measured radius.
