9-1 INTRODUCTION
Like any other airplane, the Sportsman can be operated efficiently and
safely only in the hands of a skilled pilot. This safety information is
provided to refresh the pilot’s knowledge of a number of safety
subjects. These subjects should be reviewed periodically.
Topics in this section and other safety-related issues are dealt with
more fully in FAA Documents and other articles pertaining to the
subject of safe flying. The safe pilot should be familiar with this
literature.
The Sportsman is designed to provide many years of safe and efficient
transportation. By maintaining and flying the airplane prudently, its
fullest potential will be realized.
It is mandatory that you fully understand the contents of this manual;
that FAA requirements for ratings, certifications and review be
scrupulously complied with; and that you allow only persons who are
properly licensed and rated and thoroughly familiar with the contents
of this
Owner’s Manual
to operate the aircraft.
