Table 20    IEEE 488.2 Common Commands

Description 

*TST? 

Self-Test 

Self-Test Query. It returns '0' if the test succeeds, and '1' if 
the test fails. The test sets a predefined group of CW 
frequencies and power levels. After each frequency and 
power is set, the firmware reads the instrument's LOCK/ 
LEVEL status. If failing the lock/level, the test is failed. In 
order to avoid damage to the device the 2400/2500 is 
connected to, maximum attenuation is set if it is available, 
or the power level is set to minimum for the duration of the 
test. The system will be restored to the pre-test condition 
upon completion. 

*WAI 

Wait-to-Continue 

Causes the synthesizer to complete all pending tasks before 
executing any additional commands.
