Digitizing shapes

This section shows you how to digitize some simple shapes: a shape with curves, a circle and a
box.

Tip: Be sure to save your digitized artwork often.

To digitize a shape with all curves

To end press
2 (F11) and
then 3 (End)

Digitize the start point S with button 1.

Click button 4 or F12 to begin digitizing curved line segments.

Digitize all shape points with button 1.

Click button 2 or F11 to end curve smooth.

At the start point S, close the shape with button 3 (End).

To digitize a circle

In Composer click the Circle tool (Shift+O).

Hold down Shift+Ctrl on the keyboard and press button 1 on the puck to digitize the
center point of the circle.

While holding down button 1, drag the puck to the circle edge and release the button
to digitize the circumference point.

To start press
button 1

Press 4 (F12) and
then 1 to start the
curve
