CONFIGURING THE HYDRAN 201T

I

The H201T

i

can be configured using either its keypad or a host computer running the

Hydran Host software. It is recommended to use the Hydran Host software because the
configuration task is much easier. For details, see the

Hydran Host Software Manual

.

The H201T

i

’s user interface is described thoroughly in Section 4.1 on page 4-1. The

parameter verification detailed in the following pages is written for those who are using the
H201T

i

’s keypad.

Note: The values indicated in this Section are only given as an indication and may differ
from customer requirements. The value of the various parameters should be decided during
the planning stage of the installation. Ensure to verify all parameters.

6.4.1

Setting the Communication Parameters for the Hydran Host Software

Proceed as follows in order to use a host computer:

1.

Connect the supplied RS-232 cable to the Hydran 201T

i

’s DB-9 male RS-232

connector (see item 5 in Figure 2-2 on page 2-5), located at the back of the CPU
module.

2.

Using the H201T

i

’s keypad, access the submenu

H201Ti V2.2x;Communication

.

3.

Press

ENTER

to access the parameter

CommChannel

(communication channel).

4.

Set the parameter

CommChannel

to

H201Ti-DB-9

.

5.

Press

ENTER

to confirm the modification.

6.

Press

END

.

Note: Do not change the parameter DefaultChannel. The H201Ti returns automatically to
the default channel if there is no communication during five minutes.
