Updating Embedded StorView software

To update the Embedded StorView software:

Caution

Make sure that there is uninterrupted

power during the update.

On the StorView

Main

window, click

About

. The

About

window opens.

Click

UPDATE

. The

Update Embedded Storview

window opens.

Enter the name of the firmware file or click

Browse

and locate the file. The

file name is be similar to

storview-3.04.0001-nb-en.bin

Enter your login password, then click

UPLOAD

. The upload proceeds.

After the update is complete, StorView Server automatically restarts. This
process does not affect I/O activity.

StorView and the StorView logo are registered trademarks of

Gateway.
