3.1.1 ATTACHING TO MASCHIO DL VIGNETO HARROW
(model 1300 - 1500 - 1800 - 2000)
DANGER
The connection to the tractor is a very dangerous phase.
Be very careful in following the instructions for the whole
operation.
The correct positioning of the tractor/seeder is determined by
placing the unit on a horizontal surface.
1) Fix the hopper supports (1) to the MASCHIO DLV implement
as shown in Figure 8.
2) Using the four U bolts, fix the hopper support bar (2) to the
supports (1), centring it on the axis of the implement (Fig. 9).
3) Fix the "scattering" bar to the implement (3 Fig. 8).
4) Connect the hopper to the "scattering" bar (3 Fig. 8) with the
seed delivery tubes (4 Fig. 8).
3.1.2 ATTACHING TO OTHER IMPLEMENTS
To attach to other implements, use only the hopper support bar
(1 Fig. 10).
3.1.3 CONNECTING TO THE TRACTOR
DANGER
Attaching to the tractor is a very dangerous operation. Be very
careful to carry out the whole operation following the implement
manufacturer's instructions.
3.2 ADAPTING THE CARDAN SHAFT
The Cardan shaft, supplied with the machine, is of standard
length. It might, therefore, be necessary to adapt the Cardan
shaft. Should this be the case, before proceeding, consult the
Manufacturer.
CAUTION
- When the Cardan shaft is withdrawn to the end of its stroke,
the two pipes should ovelap by at least 15 cm (A Fig. 11).
When it is inserted all the way, the minimum admissible play
is 4 cm (B Fig. 11).
- When using the equipment on another tractor, check that
conditions are as stated above and check that the guards
completely cover the rotating parts of the Cardan shaft.
WARNING
For transportation of the seeder, always follow the Manu-
facturer’s instructions.
