14.3 Configuration of a digital output as frequency output
The frequency output emits a square wave signal with a frequency which is proportional to the source item sent to the
output.
Assignment of a source item
• Select one of the following source items:
– Flow quantities
– Totalizers
– Fluid properties
– Diagnostic values
– Miscellaneous (Custom. Input 1...4)
• Select the source item to be transmitted to the output.
• Select a list item (here: Flow quantities ).
• Press ENTER.
• Select a list item (here: Volumetric flow rate ).
• Press ENTER.
• Select the list item
Values .
• Press ENTER.
• Pass the menu item
Options\...\Outputs with the following items in its entirety:
– Output range
– Error value
– Measuring range
– Output info
– Function test
