Installing peripheral modules 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Caution 

Inappropriate handling can result in damage to the modules. 

 

Switch off the supply voltages before installing or removing 
peripheral modules. 

 

Do not touch any components. 

 

Observe the handling specifications for electrostatic sensitive 
devices. 

 

To protect the components against discharges of static electric-
ity, discharge yourself of static electricity before installing or 
removing modules. 

 

 

Note that the device configuration of the controller CECX-K-D1 must 
not be changed (see Section 1.2.3). In combination with the GFDM 
diagnostic system, the address switches of all peripheral modules 
must be set to 0. 

Peripheral modules are shipped from the factory with the address setting 0. Before install-
ing peripheral modules, you need to check and if necessary change the address setting.
