The module provides 16 digital inputs of the type 1 (according to EN 61131-2: 2003) for
processing external digital signals. Suitable plugs with a grid dimension of 5.08 mm are
required for connection (2 blocks with 8 connections, 1 block with 2 connections).
Use only suitable plugs that guarantee a secure plug connection.
The plugs from the Festo range are suitable (see Appendix A.3).
The digital inputs have a common ground potential and are electrically isolated from the
evaluation logic. The switching status "high" is indicated by green LEDs on the left side of
the contact strip.
