5.1
Overview of diagnostic options
The controller CECX-K-D1 offers extensive options for diagnosis and error handling. The
following options are available:
Diagnostic options
Brief description
On-the-spot diagno-
sis via LEDs
LEDs on the modules indicate signal states, hardware errors, bus errors, etc. (see
manual for the respective module).
On-the-spot diagno-
sis via 7-segment
display
The 7-segment display shows corresponding error codes in the event of an error (see
Section 5.4). These errors can be acknowledged by briefly pressing the CTRL key on
the central module.
Diagnosis via soft-
ware tools
Information on this can be found in the online help for the configuration software.

Power LED
The green Power LED is located above the CTRL key on the central modules.

There is a status LED for each channel. This LED indicates the status of the signal as fol-
lows:
