Power is on, initialising the module hardware. If this status is maintained for a longer
period, the hardware is defective (contact Festo).

Testing the consistency of the boot block.

Power-on self-test, testing the consistency of the module.

Writing the firmware on the Compact Flash memory card to the DRAM.

Starting the firmware.

Start-up of the boot block complete. Initialising and starting the operating system.

Starting various firmware components (services, I/O system, communication).

Autostart check: factory setting = autostart enabled (if the autostart function has been
disabled, the system will wait here for a key to be pressed (CTRL key)).

INIT: Start-up of the firmware complete. The CP module is now ready for operation. If
there is already an application on the Compact Flash memory card, it is now loaded.
