5.0 START-UP AND CONTROL PANEL
The connection between the remote terminal and the machine is made with a 6-way telephone cable that can have a maximum length of 50
metres.
For special applications requiring greater distances, please refer to cases
“A”
and
“B”,
shown below.
A: distance 50< L< 200 m.
Over 50 m it is necessary to use two TCONN6J000 boards, connected with a
shielded four-pole wire, as shown in the figure at the side. The terminal power
supply comes from the control.
B: distance 200< L< 500 m.
The terminal power supply must be supplied by an external power supply.
Connect a shielded three-pole wire to the connector pLAN J11.
Power the board TCONN6J000 separately, as shown in the figure.
To reach the maximum length of the network use a bus topology, with
branches not exceeding 5 m.
There are 2 remote panel versions, available upon request: panel mounting version or wall mounting version.
Panel mounting version
This version has been designed for fixing to a panel with drilling template dimensions of 127 x 69
mm. and n°2 round holes with a diameter of 4 mm.
Follow the instructions contained herein for installation:
•
Connect the telephone cable in the specific connector located at the back of the remote
terminal;
•
Insert the terminal into the hole, without the front frame, and fix the device to the panel using
the countersunk screws provided;
•
Attach the snap-on front frame.
Wall mounting version
The wall fixing version of the terminal foresees the initial fixing of the rear case A (see figure).
Follow the instructions contained herein for installation:
•
Connect the telephone cable in the specific connector located at the back of the remote
terminal;
•
Rest the front on the rear case A and fasten everything using the countersunk screws
provided, as shown in the figure;
•
Attach the snap-on front frame.
