1.9.3.1
Installing SFP modules
To insert an SFP module into the SFP module slot, follow these
steps:
1.
Locate the send (TX) and receive (RX) markings that identify the
top side of the SFP module.
N O T E !
On some SFP modules, the TX and RX can be marked as
arrowheads, pointing from the SFP module connector
(transmit direction /TX) and toward the connector (receive
direction /RX).
2.
Align the SFP module in front of the slot opening.
Make sure that the SFP module has the correct orientation, either a
latch-up or a latch-down orientation.
3.
Insert the SFP module into the slot. Insertion is correct when you
feel the module-connector snap into place in the rear of the slot.
