FUSER UNIT

Be careful not to burn yourself as the FUSER section remains at high temperature after
turning the power off.

Open the CHUTE DUP GATE.

Rotate the levers on the left and right side of the FUSER UNIT as shown in the direction of the arrow,

and unlock the lock.

Slide the FUSER UNIT toward front of the printer, release the connector and the guide pin from the

main unit, and remove the FUSER UNIT by lifting it straight up.

FUSER UNIT

COVER TOP

Remove the four screws (silver, self-tapping, 10 mm) and the screw (silver, brimmed, self-tapping,
10 mm) that secure the COVER TOP to the main unit.

Pull the tabs of the COVER TOP outward so that it comes free from the two protrusion of the main unit.

Raise the COVER TOP to disengage the protrusion on the left side of the COVER TOP through the

hole in the main unit, and remove the COVER TOP.
