MAINTENANCE SHEET

Monitor serial No.::

OPERATION SHEET: 4.3.6

Scope : Verification of pressure exerted on the filter

PAGE : 2/2

Periodicity : 1 year

Dates

8/ Check that the filter ribbon does not move while the capstan is turning. If this is the case, then the
pressure on the ribbon is correct.

If the filter ribbon moves while the capstan is turning, then adjustments need to be made to the
take-up reel and/or the pay-out reel until the filter ribbon no longer moves.

Note that adjustment of the pay-out reel pressure may be more important than that of the take-up
reel.

Example :

If the filter ribbon is observed to be overly strained and damaged, then a likely cause may the

tension on the pay-out reel.

To correct this behavior, open the cover of the analyzer, loosen the clutch of the pay-out reel

using the knurled button and spring, and repeat the filter ribbon pressure test and reel
adjustment until satisfactory results are obtained.

9/ Remove the paper located between the capstan and the ribbon.

10/ Put back in place the disengageable pinch roller.
