Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting AQUATOP T LOGON B WP61
Problem
Cause
Remedy, Action
229: Pressure monitor heat
source
Pressure monitor doesn’t react.
Effect on contact E15 at the LOGON B WP61.
A
B-W-HP:
Brine pressure too low
The module switches the respective unit to
the safety state when a malfunction or error
occurs.
A1 Check brine pressure with manometer
(pressure min=1bar).
A2 Check the function of the brine pressure monitor
A3 Top off brine (Caution: use existing mixture)
A4 Check expansion vessel when topping off the
brine (if the pressure increases rapidly when
filling the brine, expansion vessel is not working)
A5 If it occurs several times, check brine circuit for
leaks
A6 Check electrical connection from pressure
monitor to the controller
230: Source pump overloaded
Thermal contact of the source pump is triggered.
Effect on contact E14 (EX2) at the
LOGON B WP61.
A
Pump failure
A1 Pump blocked
A2 Motor protection was triggered
A3 Pump defective
The module switches the respective unit to the
safety state when a malfunction or error occurs.
A1 Clear pump blockage, find out cause for blockage
A2 Check why motor protection was triggered:
A21 Check power consumption of pump (amperes)
A22 Check trigger threshold of motor protection
A23 Check motor protection for defect
A3 Replace pump if defective
358: Soft starter
Effect on contact E25 (EX5) at the
LOGON B WP 61.
Soft starter SMC3 emits voltage at terminal 98.
-
Overload
-
Overheating
-
Phase reversal (rotating field incorrect)
-
Phase loss
-
Phase asymmetry
-
Short circuit
-
Manual interlock of the SMC 3
Perform a reset on HMI control panel and check the
following:
1.
Measure current consumption, set release
current on the SMC3
2.
Check DIP switch setting on the SMC3
3.
Check electrical connection
4.
Make sure rotating field is right
5.
Check the 3 input phases
6.
Measure voltage of the 3 phases
7.
Eliminate short circuit
8.
For load shedding an extra relay has to be
installed, see load shedding info.
12: PWW charge temp.
HP too low
The controller stores the potable water tempera-
ture achieved during which the charging with the
heat pump was last interrupted when the heat
pump reached the high pressure, hot gas or
maximum switch-off temperature limit. If the value
is lower than the setting “PWH charge temp HP
minimum" (control line 7092), the service symbol
will appear in the display and the details of the
service:
This parameter cannot be reset. If the next time
potable water is charged the minimum PWW charging
temperature is exceeded again, the service function
will also be reversed. If it isn’t reached again, the
service message will remain.
1.
Check placement of the of the B3 sensor
2.
Setpoint too high for PWW temp.
3.
Charging type activated with B3 and B31, switch
to B3 only
4.
Temperature transmission to PWW sensor
poor, improve with spring clamp
5.
In the mother/child storage the PWW charge
should occur at different levels via a three-way
valve.
6.
Heat exchange area of the storage is too small
Heat pump disabled
Info via Parameter 8006 status HP
1.
Disabled, outdoor temperature
2.
Disabled, external
External disablement on the part of the
power supply company / of the electric utility
company. Input voltage E6 has dropped.
3.
Disabled, eco-mode
1.
Outdoor temperature to low
2.
Utility/power station blockage
No problem, HP continues to run when the
disablement is over. Check the functioning of the
phase monitoring relay: The green LED on the
phase monitoring relay must be illuminated when
there is no disablement by the utility company/
power station.
3.
Summer mode
