Electrical Connection
General
Compliance with the corresponding
SEV, EN, IEC, as well as VDE stand-
ards is required for the electrical con-
nection of the heat pump. The con-
nection specifications of the local
utility or electric company must be
complied with as well.
The power supply to the equipment
must be disconnected before per-
forming any electrical connection or
service or maintenance work. The
upper cover on the equipment must
be removed for the electrical connec-
tion. This requires unscrewing four
hexagonal screws on the rear upper
cover plate of the unit and then pull-
ing the cover up and off.
The power supply is connected at the
screw connection at the rear of the
heat pump. All other necessary con-
trol connections, such as flow moni-
tor, frost protection, thermostat, and
temperature sensor are also at the
rear of the heat pump.
Power supply to the switchbox
The power supply for the heat pump
must feature a main switch or all-pole
cut-off switch with a contact distance
of at least 3 mm, as well as a 3-pole
circuit breaker with shared trigger for
all outer conductors. See technical

pump for the tripping current! The
power cables must have a cross-
section that corresponds with the
equipment output as well as the local-
ly applicable rules and standards.
Electrical connections and in-
structions for controlling
The electrical connections must be
done according to local prescriptions.
The power supply must have a cur-
rent tolerance of max 2% and a ten-
sion tolerance of max 10%. The heat
pump can’t be supplied if the differ-
ence between phases is more than
2% (EN60439-1).
Working conditions out of these limits
bring to the decadence of the guaran-
tee.
