Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting AQUATOP T LOGON B WP61
Problem
Cause
Remedy, Action
106: Source temperature too low S-W WP
Brine output temperatures too low (parameter
2816, -5°C)
A1 Low volume flow
A2 Probe badly charged
A3 Probe comp. not OK
A4 Valve closed
A5 Pump not running
A6 Probe not large enough
A7 Probe overloaded
A1 Check pump output
A2 Vent geothermal heating system
A3 Set flow control
A4 Open slide valve
A5 Check thermo relays, phases and relays
A6 Check hours of operation of compressor since
commissioning, should not exceed 1800 hrs per
year (improper dimensioning or overload, alarm)
106: Source temperature too low W-W WP
Switches to frost protection while the heat pump
is running and the source inlet temperature at the
heat pump is less than 3°C.
A
Sensor defective.
B
Groundwater volume flow too low.
C
Heat exchanger for system separation dirty
or incorrectly dimensioned
A1 Check functioning of sensor.
B1 Check filter for dirt
B2 Check evaporator for dirt
B4 Water level in well or brine circuit and check too
low, check temperature difference between inlet
and outlet during operation (
∆
T=3-4K)
B5 Check temperature difference between secondary
and primary circuit (
∆
T= approx. 2-3 K) clean if
needed, check pump settings.
C
With existing intermediate circuit, check function
of intermediate circuit, check plate exchanger
for dirt
107: Hot gas compressor
Hot gas temperature (B81) too high
A
Too little coolant
B
Compressor leak
C
Filter dryer dirty
D
System temperature set too high
A
Top off coolant
B
Replace compressor
C
Check the difference in temperature between the
filter drier inlet and outlet (
∆
T max = 3)
The cooling technician must be called in such cases.
D
Check the system temperature setting. Heating
curve and PWW temperature have to be within
the limits of use of the heat pump!
222: High pressure during HP
operation
Effect on contact E10 at the LOGON B WP61.
High-pressure problem during operation of heat
pump.
High-pressure pressure controller triggered in
cooling circuit. No heat can be emitted.
A
In heating mode
A1 Insufficient flow rate
A2 Valve closed
A3 Heating or potable water circulation pump
not running
A4 Overflow valve set incorrectly
A5 Heating curve set too steep
The module switches the respective unit to the
safety mode when a malfunction or error occurs.
A1 Check flow heating water (
∆
T =5-10 K)
A2 Open slide valve. Check flap valves
A3 Restore function of heating circuit pump /replace
pump.
A4 Install overflow valve, repeat setting procedure
A5 Set heating curve lower
B
If A can be precluded, the amount of coolant
could be too high.
The cooling technician must be called in this case.
146: Sensor control element
configuration
A
The connected sensors connected are not
suitable for the given function of the pro-
grammable inputs/outputs.
A
Check sensor assignment
A1 Check programmed function at Qx outputs
A2 Check system configuration by means of control
numbers
223: HP when starting HC
Effect on contact E10 at the LOGON B WP61.
High-pressure problem when the heat pump is
started.
A
Water in system is too cold (below 10°C).
A
Below 10 °C: Raise temperature in system with
electric heating element.
