Troubleshooting AQUATOP T LOGON B WP61
Problem
Cause
Remedy, Action
224: HP when starting potable
water heating
Effect on contact E10 at the LOGON B WP61,
High pressure problem when starting potable
water mode.
A
Potable water charging pump not running
B
Three-way valve opens too slowly or not
at all
C
Water volume too low
D
Air in the system
E
Slide valve closed
F
Heat exchanger surface in storage too small
G
Sensor positioned incorrectly/too low in
storage
A
Unblock or replace pump
B
Check three-way valve, replace if needed.
Extend flow time of condenser pump
(
Parameter 2802)
C
Check temperature difference between
flow and return (
∆
T =approx. 5-8 K)
D
Vent system
E
Open slide valve, check return valve
F
Heat exchange area (in m
2
) = heating output
HP at 20°C air and 50°C water x 0.3. Exp.
10 kW x 0.3= 3.0 m
2
. HP output, consult
technical data for corresponding source
temperature.
G
Install sensor correctly. Check position of potable
water sensor
225: Low pressure problem
Low pressure compressor
Effect on contact E9 at the LOGON B WP61.
Source energy too low!
Low pressure controller in the cooling circuit
triggered.
A
Insufficient flow of brine mixture in evaporator
B
Leak in cooling circuit
C
Pressure controller defective
D
Filter clogged
E
Defective or clogged injection valve.
F
Incorrect amount of coolant
A
A1 Brine pump blocked, restore function to brine
pump
A11 Defrost thickened brine in evaporator
(remove insulation, use hairdryer to melt or let
sit for 1 day)
A2 In case of inhomogeneous brine mixtures, the
brine may become thickened in the evaporator.
A21 Better mixing of brine
B
If all items above have been checked and the
compressor switches to low pressure malfunction
within a few seconds after being started, then the
cooling circuit has a leak. Oil residue in the unit is
another indication of a leak in the cooling circuit
(do not mistake oil for brine).
B1 In case of a leak in the cooling circuit,
the cooling service technician must be called.
C
Check switching point (important: depends on
coolant type)
D
Measure temperature upstream and downstream
of filter (
∆
T max 3 K)
E
Set or replace injection valve
(in this case the cooling technician must be
called)
Check and insulate sensor
F
Check amount of coolant. In this case the cooling
technician must be called
226: Compressor 1 overloaded
Effect on contact E11 at the LOGON B WP61.
Overload triggered.
For AQUATOP T28H-T43H only.
A
Overheating of compressor (compressor
gets hot)
A1 Not enough coolant.
A2 Phase interruption
A1 Check amount of coolant
A2 Check all three phases (wait until the coil has
cooled, can take several hours)
228: Flow controller water source Effect on contact E15 (EX4) at the
LOGON B WP.
A
Shut-off valve closed
B
Flow monitor set incorrectly
C
Ground water pump defective
D
Filter clogged in ground water line
E
Heat exchanger intermediate circuit clogged
A
Open shut-off valve
B
Check flow monitor (check switch point while
ground water pump is running by slowly closing
and opening the slide valve)
C
Check the function of the ground water pump
D
Clean the filter in the ground water line
E
Clean heat exchanger intermediate circuit
